Platonic/ Greek Philosophy strangely similar to Vedic Hinduism?

According to Diogenes Laertius, Plato schools of teaching were Heraclitean and Pythagorean, two mystic schools. Heraclitus was a kind of mystic because he learnt his wisdom by revelation and Pythagoras was known for having travelled to learn from the Egyptian, the Chaldean and the Magi philosophers. As for Plato himself, he tried to learn from all other countries too, probably including India. It would not surprise me that he was directly inspired. Aristotle must have been to India during Alexander the Great conquest.
